You are still postpartum after loss

There is a lot of grief after miscarriage or stillbirth.
Mothers also experience everything that comes with pregnancy:
Hormones dropping dramatically.
Post bleeding.
Milk may come in.
Possible after-pains and your brain changes.
Possible healing from perineal injuries or tears or a c-section incision.
Experiencing all these while going through a trauma that can develop into anxiety depression or PTSD.
Support is the best thing to give. Whether it’s the coming over to check up on them or professional support with a counsellor.
Know that most of all, in a loss, they need your love, your willingness to listen & grieve along with them.
