The Mr loves pancakes. There is never a different answer to “what do you want for breakfast?” the answer is always pancakes, each and every weekend. Al though to be honest, of late he has gotten a liking for french toast. So once in a while when I do not feel like making pancakes he will ask for french toast.
The DStv Chill ‘N Grill- 3rd Edition
The 3rd edition of the DStv Chill N Grill was filled with lots of fun and food just like the previous events. This time the venue changed from Wanderjoy to Mamba village. Unlike the last event where it pretty much rained the whole day, the weather was beautiful; nice and sunny. The rains came later on in the evening, but the fun did not stop. The cooking continued and the entertainment.

Sometimes I sit in a corner and wonder why Kenyans are so reserved with their foods. Rice is either steamed or pilau, sweet potatoes are boiled or cooked in stew, sausages are grilled or pan fried. How boring is life that is lived in a box!!!! The world of food should never be put in a box. There are 10’s of ways to prepare any one dish. Altering a dish by even one ingredient can give your meal a new twist.
