#ILoveMondays: Lets Koroga!

Hey Foodies,

How have you been? What have you been up to? Enyewe it has been a long time. I am sure a lot has happened on your end. On mine too. I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Motherhood is so overwhelming yet so beautiful. It’s the hardest thing I have ever had to do yet so heart warming. Such a beautiful mix of emotions I tell you.

I’m now back to blogging. Back to taking care of your tummies and sorta back to work. Well 2 weekends ago I went out to work for at Koroga. It was quite exciting for me coz it was the first time I had ever left my baby.  She was 9 weeks old. I had never left the house with out her. Actually since she was conceived this was the first time I left her.

I think I looked quite dashing seeing as it is only two months postpartum 🙂

I had expected to feel anxious, all mamas say how hard the first time always is but it was not for me. God blessed Muthoni and I with a wonderful man, Mr. MF, who stayed home with her so I believe knowing she was in safe hands really helped me be settled. 😉

So back to Koroga. I was cooking for the Bidco tent. They had an amazing competition where all one had to do was take a selfie with one of their pulls ups and stand a chance to win food worth Ksh 1500, cooked by yours truly :-), and a glass of wine.

The tent was quite popular. But what else would you expect when two great brands work together. The food was just out of this world.

The bbq drumsticks were my favourite. Look out for the recipe soon

And just coz I am vain, mostly coz I rarely dress up any more. I leave you with this dashing pic of my brother, Charlo and I.
