If you are a person who does not love waru (potatoes) I don’t know waru doing with your life? hahahha see what I did there? Honestly, waru is bae. I love potatoes anyway any how. Deep fried, shallow fried, mashed, scalloped. I can eat it all day everyday.

Potato wedges are my go to way to have waru. It’s easy and fast. Best part is you do not even have to peel the potato. I sometimes leave them on just scrub them clean, cut them boil them with salt and whatever spice then deep fry or oven bake. Easy peasy.

Rosemary Potato Wedges

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

Yield: 4 to 6

Ingredients

  1. 6 large potatoes, quartered
  2. 1 teaspoon salt
  3. 1 tablespoon rosemary
  4. 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  5. water for boiling
  6. oil for deep frying

Instructions

You can choose to peel or not peel the potatoes.

Place the potatoes, salt, rosemary and garlic powder in the water. Bring to a boil till the potatoes are just soft but not fully cooked. Drain and set aside.

Heat up the oil, cook the potatoes till browned.

Serve hot
